Design, Synthesis and Anti-Bacterial Activity Evaluation of Indole-Based Benzophenone and Their Derivatives

Indole and benzophenone moiety are of significant interest to investigators because they found in many natural products pharmacologically active compounds. They represent versatile synthetic building blocks. The indole scaffolds special structures medicinal chemistry these compounds several biologically products, containing exhibit anticancer, antiinflammatory, antimicrobial, antiviral activities. In this study, derivatives 2-(diphenyl methylene) hydrazine, both moieties were successfully synthesized. structural elucidation the synthesized done using spectroscopic techniques like IR, 1HNMR, 13CNMR. target investigated for their vitro antibacterial activity against two bacterial strains; staphylococcus aureus (S. auras), Escherichia coli (E. coli) disc diffusion method.
